France - Chambreteau, La Rochelle, Bordeaux to Biscarrosse

At the top of the main street just before the bridge over which we entered Bordeaux city, is the Arch. Time to turn back and find where we parked the 'camping-car', Winnie. We found the city a little dingy and when walking up some of the narrower roads we were looking over our shoulders feeling a little unsafe. It was probably totally unjustified and the grey weather didn't help. On a cheery bright day with the hustle bustle of a working day we might have felt differently.
